About Us
NEW LIFE CHRISTIAN COVENANT CHURCH HISTORY
In April of 2010, then Bishop Annie B. Campbell-Pitre inquired with Charles A. Mullen Sr. and his bride Cassandra L. Mullen, to prayerfully consider taking the reigns of the ministry and becoming the Senior Pastor and 1st Lady of Giving and Living For Others Ministries. The Lord was preparing her to pass the mantle of leadership.
As it was given to her and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the mantle of leadership for Giving And Living For Others Ministries was passed on to Charles A. Mullen Sr., as Senior Servant and Pastor. Lovingly known as “Bishop Mom”, she was consecrated as Apostle of Regeneration Fellowship prior to her reassignment into God’s loving arms.
Before going on to be with the Lord, Apostle Campbell-Pitre asked for the name “Giving and Living for Others Ministries” to be returned to her.
This was the name the Lord had given her for her ministry. Pastor Mullen agreed and through much prayer, the Lord revealed the new name of the ministry to be “New Life Christian Covenant Church”. On September 27, 2015, the 33rd anniversary of Giving And Living For Others Ministries, the name of the ministry was officially changed to “New Life Christian Covenant Church”.
New Life Christian Covenant Church moved from 4130 Alpha Street, San Diego, CA 92113 on January 1, 2016 to its present location of 2130 Saipan Drive, San Diego, CA 92139 and that within itself was truly a move of God. It has been a labor of love to move the ministry and direct the people, all which could not have been done without the presence of the Holy Spirit.
We are in a perfect place to be used by God, a new name, a new location and a new outlook on ministry as we now know we are a teaching Ministry, teaching exclusively from the Bible and it's resources.
We are excited and expect great things from the Father of Light as we walk obediently to His Word and into our destiny… As we say at the end of each meeting…
“May the blessings in Jesus Christ cover you all, And also cover you, blessings in Jesus Christ.”
Our Faith is in Jesus
The faith we seek everyday is in the Son of the living God, Jesus the Christ, the anointed one of God. We have our hope planted in His promises of eternal life with Him after leaving this physical earth to enter into His Spiritual Kingdom.
•We believe that the Bible is the Divinely Inspired, Authoritative, Inerrant and Infallible Word of God,
•We believe that there is One God, eternally existent in three persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost;
•We believe in the virgin birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, His sinless life, the only acceptable atoning sacrifice in the power of His blood, His death, burial and His body being resurrected from the dead, His ascension to heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father where He has all Authority, Power and Dominion;
•We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit who convicts, regenerates, baptize, indwells enlightens and empowers believers for Godly living for the edification of the body of Christ;
•We believe in water baptism by immersion for all believers and the observance of the Lord’s Supper;
•We believe in Jesus’ personal future return to this earth with all power and authority and the eternal existence of people in heaven or in hell.
